Tour Route: Vientiane - Luang Prabang - Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hue - Hoi An Ancient Town - Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel - Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

Tour program:

Day 1: Vientiane - Laos Arrival (/)
Airport arrival and transfer to the hotel. Vientians half-day city tour offers a visit to Wat Sisaket, Ho Prakeo, That Luang Stupa. Enjoy a stroll through the colorful central market and some free on the banks of the Mekong River.

Day 2: Vientiane- Luang Prabang (B/L/)
This morning, we take a flight to Luang Prabang. The former ancient capital. This is a city of historic temples and friendly faces of the local ethnic minority groups. Visit Wat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful pagoda, Wat Vixound, Wat May and Phousi hill for a spectacular overview of the city.

Day 3: Luang Prabang (B/L/)
After breakfast, it’s all aboard for a full day excursion by boat along the Mekong river. We visit the famous Buddhist cave of Pak Ou. On the way, stop at Ba  Xanghai where the process of rice alcohol distillation can be observed. Visit Tham Ting cave. Picnic lunch at Pak Ou village, at the convergence of the Mekong and Ou river. See why so much preservation and effort is now focused on this ancient old city.

Day 4: Luang Prabang - Hanoi – Vietnam (B/L/)
Free to explore until you are transferred to the airport for flight to Hanoi. Pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Hanoi. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi City Tour (B/L/)
After breakfast in the hotel, our tour guide and driver will come to pick you up and start the city tour including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilts House, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby, the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam date back to the 11th century, have lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we will visit peaceful West Lake or Ho Tay with lovers Thanh Nien Street, the sedate Tran Quoc – the oldest pagoda in Hanoi and Quan Thanh temple and one of the city's museums, either the History Museum or the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. In the late afternoon we will visit the Hanoi Old Quarter also known as the 36 streets and guilds by cyclo tour and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Our tour guide will pick you up at 8:00 at your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Halong Bay. Drive about 03 hours through the rice fields in the Red River Delta to Ha Long city. Upon arrival, check in a junk boat for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with delicious seafood lunch served on board.
In the afternoon, cruise on a boat in the crystalline emerald green water of Ha Long bay, among thousands of spectacular limestone islands and islets and discover Surprising Cave, the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. The boat stops at an ideal location for Sea Kayaking as we paddle through a maze of islets amid dramatic natural scenery. Explore the many hidden lagoons and stalagmite caves that are not so accessible otherwise. Overnight on junk boat.

Day 7: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (B/L/)
In the morning, one more kayaking trip around the stunning Ha Long bay and enjoying sunrise before returning to the junk. Lunch served on board while cruising toward Ha Long harbor.

Disembark at around 12:00 and drive back to Hanoi, with a stop in Dong Trieu Ceramic Village (optional). Arrive in Hanoi at 17.00 pm.

Day 8: Hanoi - Hue Citadel (B/L/)
Moring transfer to the airport for the flight to Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital. Cruise on the Perfume River to visit the impressive tomb of King Minh Mang with a stop at the Old Thien Mu Pagoda. The rest of day will be free time for you at Dong Ba Market.

Day 9: Hue – Hoi An Ancient Town (B/L/)
Today, we explore the Citadel before driving over the scenic Hai Van pass to Danang. On the way we can see some of the best scenery in Vietnam. Visit the unique Cham Museum and continue on to Hoi An, Vietnam’s ancient trading port.

Day 10: Hoi An Ancient Town (B/L/)
In Hoi An, we will have the opportunity to walk in the streets and watch the tailors, lanterns makers and cobblers doing their trades. The river setting in Hoi An is wonderful and we are sure you’ll enjoy some great seafood dinning in Hoi An. Free time in the evening for discovery.

Day 11: Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/)
Transfer to Danang Airport and it will be soon to the busy Ho Chi Minh City. We walk its bustling streets and markets, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the former US Embassy and Cho Lon, the Chinatown of Saigon. The shopping in Ho Chi Minh City is as good as anywhere and bargains are waiting for you.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L/)
A visit to the South is also a chance to experience the resistance fighter’s underground tunnel system of Cu Chi. This area was of major significance in the American and French wars. Try your luck at the rifle range? Back to Ho Chi Minh City for some night life.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh – Siem Reap - Cambodia (B/L/)
Airport transfer for flight to Siem Reap, where our journey starts by exploring Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant and Terrance of the leper King. Transfer back to hotel for relaxation after a big day.

Day 14: Siem Reap (B/L/)
Angkor Wat, one on the seven Wonders of the World, you are about to discover it for yourself. Wiew sunrise at Angkor Wat in the early morning and an afternoon boat trip on Tonle Sap Great Lake to visit the Floating Village.

Day 15: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (B/L/)
This morning, we visit Grand Circuit, including Pre Rup(‘Change the Body’), Eastt Mebon, TaSom, Neak Pean, Preah Khan and Baksei Chamkrong before transferring to the airport for flight to Phnom Penh. Arrive Phnom Penh. Free at your leisure.

Day 16: Phnom Penh (B/L/)
A full day of exploration will lead us to Silver Pagoda, the Toul Sleng Museum and the impressive Khmer National Museum. Pol Pot’s reign of terror may shock you so be prepared for a disturbing amount. Free time in town for shopping at the Russian Market or New Central Market

Day 17 Phnom Penh Departure (B/)
Free at leisure to relax until transferring  to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
